Why I started sbozh.me
I created sbozh.me to track my work openly and share the process behind my projects.
“I was attracted to JavaScript because of the ability to just build something and share it instantly with the world…”
- Evan You
What This Is
sbozh.me is my place to build in public.
“Sbozhed” (pronounced zbozhd) is a word I made up for that moment when something clicks - when you see something crafted with real intention and it shifts the way you think. That feeling is what I chase when I build. And it’s the feeling I want you to get when you visit this site.
Why I'm Doing This
I’ve been a frontend developer for about ten years. But “frontend developer” doesn’t fully describe what I do. I’m obsessed with making things well - making sure every detail has purpose, and that what I build reaches people the way I intended.
A while ago I found the word demiurge - a creator, a builder of worlds. That’s the level I want to grow into. Not just writing code, but shaping experiences with intention.
If you're curious about my commercial experience, I keep a concise, high-level CV at /cv - not a full timeline, just the highlights that matter.
Why Now
The picture above says it better than I can:
Years brought me to this shore. The ship is here - built from a decade of work. But it’s not ready. The water receded. I have a window to rebuild before the tide returns. This is that window.
Explore /projects
Everything I’ve built lives at /projects.
Commercial work, open-source contributions, strange side experiments - each one has its own page with its story.
sbozh.me itself is one of those projects too. You’ll find a backlog with updates as I build this platform piece by piece, in the open.
Coming Soon: Subscribe
Before I ever ask for your email, I want to show exactly how I’ll handle your data.
Not a wall of legal text - a real explanation: both the human promises and the technical details. That transparency is part of what this whole project is about.
You can follow updates in /projects and /blog until the subscription system is ready.
For now, the best place to stay connected is Discord.
On AI
Every post here uses AI for editing - grammar, clarity, and flow. I’m not a native English speaker, and I’d rather publish now than wait years until I write “perfectly.”
The ideas are mine. If anything is generated by AI beyond editing, I’ll label it.
